BeauMinou Birmans

            W E L C O M E

Beau Minou produces quality Birman kittens bred in our home to be fabulous furr buddies for the whole family.

We welcome enquiries.

** This site is being revamped due to an International move will be updated with new information**

BeauMinou left New Zealand in the Southern Hemisphere to Eastern Canada in the Northern Hemisphere
Co-ordinating such a big move household, children and critters was a mission and by the reckoning of the International Pet movers one of the biggest shipments of privately owned critters leaving as one lot.
This was such a huge endeavor that it prompted me to become a Licensed, Qualified New Zealand Pet Exporter recognised by MPI (Ministry of Primary Industry) formerly known as MAF.

The critters all travelled well and made it to the Montreal airport
via Auckland- Vancouver (overnight stop) - Toronto and finally Montreal

Needless to say we care for our critters and their well being, of course setting-up on our family farm is requiring time and some innovations as well as a lot of renovations, neither the move or the new digs are for the faint hearted!

See our F.A.Q. page  (frequently asked questions) for more information.
See our kitten page for a detailed list of what a BeauMinou kitten comes with!

VISITING ETIQUETTE:

When visiting our cattery we ask that you wait a minimum of  2 days IF you've been seeing kittens elsewhere.

A small wait in between cattery visits helps reduce the risk of spreading diseases.

Please be honest with us when we ask, we are not afraid of competition, we simply put a lot of love, time and money into keeping our cats healthy!

This is why we don't open viewing of kittens before they have their first  vaccine at 8 weeks old.

We rarely let them go to their new homes before
10-14 weeks+ depending on each individual kitten's progress. (some can be homed a little before) Birman kittens mature slowly and are kittenish cuties for a long time and grow into even more charming adults!

Kittens come: with all recommended vaccinations, are wormed/defleaed regularly and sterilised before going to their forever homes. They also come with a kitten pack to assist in their transition to their new home.
